Favars has a fountain, miraculous. A local legend tells how in the th century a lord decided, to extend this fountain to Saint Eutrope to stop the outbreak of black plague that ravaged the country. Since then, every year, on the first Sunday in May, we come to the early morning collecting and cooling the so-called miraculous water. Even today, while in many places pilgrimage to fountains has stopped, Favars still sees the inhabitants of the surrounding villages, a pity that the signs of this pilgrimage place are not better reported.
