Darnets is a municipality of 350 inhabitants who has beautifully preserved its millennium. Built in the Xlle century and renovated in the 1923 th century, the church, classified historic monument in, presents a mixture of Romanesque and Gothic styles. In 1966, restoration works set up a completely exceptional heraldic set of 41 ecus painted on the coat of arms of large local families. To visit the church it is possible to remove the keys at the rectory inn. A very beautiful polychrome limestone cross under the oratory of village square was what prayers were expressed for the dead under bottés eagles and peregrine falcons.
