The former priory of Ussac Abbey, Chauffour-sur-Vell, settled at the confluence of the Soustre and Vell streams. With a little over 350 souls, it is the last village of Corrèze on the Lot route. The charming locality gives you the opportunity to see its church which offers a typical gateway of Limousin, with two columns committed, surmounted by dosserets. As for its sanctuary in part of the th century, it has a skilful blend of red sandstone and karst rocks. If not, your eyes can only be drawn by the walnut dryers that are perchent at the top of the barns.
