Petit Futé's opinion on MARCHÉ
At the bottom of the Dordogne Valley, this village is renowned for the dynamism of its fairs and markets. The market and the Champ-de-Mars and Marbot tickets are the rendez-vous of the Bellocois (1st and 3rd Friday of the month). Note the presence of non-food products and the sale of cattle on the days of fair. In the summer, the festive market of country producers takes place on Mondays from 17 a. m. in front of the Penitent Chapel. Tables and benches are located on the banks of the Dordogne to peacefully taste the specialities of Lower Corrèze, farm poultry, foie gras and Fraises strawberries among others. Information from the Tourist Office.
