At the bottom of the Dordogne Valley, this village is renowned for the dynamism of its fairs and markets. The market and the Champ-de-Mars and Marbot tickets are the rendez-vous of the Bellocois (1st and 3rd Friday of the month). Note the presence of non-food products and the sale of cattle on the days of fair. In the summer, the festive market of country producers takes place on Mondays from 17 a. m. in front of the Penitent Chapel. Tables and benches are located on the banks of the Dordogne to peacefully taste the specialities of Lower Corrèze, farm poultry, foie gras and Fraises strawberries among others. Flâner au bord delà Dordogne et s’arrêter pour acquérir quelques produits locaux. Le marché de producteurs en juillet et août est un régal. Commencez par un tour en gabare, continuez par le marché de producteurs et terminez au bord de l’eau devant un bon verre en consommant terrines et fromages locaux. Ça ce sont des vacances !

Je réside à Altillac depuis le 01/12/2010,juste à coté de Beaulieu/dordogne. La foire a lieu le 1er et le 3éme vendredi le matin de chaque mois et le marché tous les mercredis matins.
