At the heart of 20th-century history, the Memorial bears witness to the history of internment and migration. The permanent exhibition immerses visitors in the history of this place. More than 200 internment camps were set up in France, and the Memorial traces their impact on the lives of over 60,000 individuals. Visitors have access to a wealth of testimonies from former internees and a rich collection of archive films. The Memorial encourages reflection with a year-round cultural, artistic and scientific program.

Open all year round. Closed January 1, May 1, November 1 and December 25. November 1 to March 31, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday to Friday. April 1 to October 31, daily from 10am to 6pm. Free admission for children under 18 (and schoolchildren, people on minimum social benefits, journalists, teachers, witnesses, donors, patrons). Adults: €9.50. Reduced rate (jobseekers, students, groups of 10 or more, heritage pass): €6.5. Access to the camp (outdoor tour) free of charge. Children welcome. Guided tour (French, English, Spanish and Catalan). Catering (snacks and local produce). Gift store. Entertainment. Bookshop. Cultural events.
