Cabin a stone's throw from the beach in Le Barcarès offering a variety of dishes
An enormous cactus, just a stone's throw from the beach! A colorful setting, a Mexican ambiance, and Katek welcomes you from her kitchen, where she prepares gourmet salads and galettes, crêpes, a gourmet plate, and homemade fresh fish. She also serves well-stocked platters from here and abroad, including rib of beef, grilled duck breast, cuttlefish à la planxa and wild prawns flambéed in pastis. For specialties, try camembert roasted in vin jaune or pastaga! The galettes bear evocative names that are not lacking in character: la Timide, la Sulfureuse, l'Autoritaire, l'Audacieuse... everyone makes their choice, and it's a bit of a conversation starter! Desserts include sweet crepes, waffles and dark, milk and white chocolate fondues, plus a wide selection of ice creams. There's always a good atmosphere in this hut, and Katek certainly has a lot to do with that, as does her convivial cooking!
