The houses of Eus are built in tiers on the side of a hill overlooking the valley of the Têt, and the whole looks like a colourful pyramid or a pièce-montée topped by an imposing church. To discover Eus is to walk along picturesque cobbled streets (the village is pedestrianised) lined with charming little houses and numerous mimosas and cacti. From vaulted passages to carrers empedrats, your steps will lead you to the highest point of the village, the church of Saint-Vincent built on the old ruined castle. Eus is considered one of the most typical fortified villages of Roussillon, and for us it is the most beautiful village!
