The course

interest: since 2014, 2 different loops, with 2 passages in the park of Château Filhot (one at the semi, for the relay of the DUO, and the other at the finish)

Starting from Château Guiraud, the route takes the small vineyard roads to reach Haut-Bommes and Château La Tour Blanche, the famous viticultural school of the South Gironde. The route then heads towards the commune of Pujols-sur-Ciron, crossing landscapes that are all as different as each other. You will discover several castles such as the Clos Saint-Robert, then you will arrive in the village of Barsac and its no less magnificent chartreuses: Château Climens (km 9), Château de Myrat (km 11), Château Coutet (km 12)... which you will pass through some of the cellars. The return to Château Filhot for the handover (km 23) will be via the commune of Bommes, and the passage near the Château d'Arche (km 21).

The 2nd loop will leave in the direction of Fargues and its famous castle of the same name (km 28). The passage through the village will then lead down to the prestigious Château de Malle (km 32) to join the commune of Preignac and its renowned wine-producing properties (Laville km 34, Haut-Bergeron km 36...). In order to reach Sauternes, you will walk (at last) through the alleys of the Yquem Castle (km 38). Once this privileged moment has been enjoyed, and after a final passage through the lively village of Sauternes (km 39.4), head for the finish line located in the heart of the splendid park of Château Filhot.
