On the seafront promenade, Jérôme treats you to Iberian specialties that highlight local fishing and local producers. On the menu, you'll find traditional dishes such as paella royale with lobster, Fideuà and "Arros": a typical Catalan dish made with rice cooked in its own juice, accompanied by seafood or meat. Our favorite is theArros Caldoso, featuring red prawns, fresh fish, cockles and squid... a delight. A "chiringuito"-style setting, with a view of the sea - the best!

Opening time and information on LA SIESTA
Open all year round. Low season: Wednesday to Saturday, 12pm to 10pm; Sunday, 12pm to 2:30pm. High season: daily and public holidays from 12pm to 12am (last service at 10pm). Reservations recommended. Children's menu: €14. Set lunch menu: €19.90 (and €24 for a full meal). Wine by the glass. Arros for 2 people minimum from 28 € / pers. Paella royale : 38 € / pers. Dishes to share (cooked tapas): from €7. Cheques not accepted. Vacation vouchers, luncheon vouchers. Groups welcome (by prior arrangement). Baby chairs available. Terrace.

Located by the sea in Canet-en-Roussillon, La Siesta takes its inspiration from xiringuitos, those typical Mediterranean beach restaurants. The decor blends wood, burlap cushions and colorful banquettes in a relaxed atmosphere. La Siesta offers cuisine inspired by Mediterranean traditions, led by chef Jérôme Mele. Dishes are prepared using local, seasonal produce, available all year round. The house specialty is arros, a Catalan rice-based dish served with fish, meat or shellfish. Each arros is prepared using traditional techniques to bring out the full flavors. The menu also includes tapas, seafood and Iberian charcuterie, to share with friends or family. A large terrace and open-roofed dining room let you enjoy your meal with a view of the sea. The menu pays homage to Catalonia through carefully prepared dishes with Iberian and Mediterranean influences.

Restaurant très très beau !
Notre jeune serveur rayan était tout simplement parfait. Très sourriant, très aimable, avec une très grande gentillesse pour nos 2 enfants.
Sangria très bonne
Les plats (couteaux en entrée et fideua en plat) étaient excellent.
Le menu enfant qui comprend un poisson pané était très bon !
Bref. Nous avons passé un excellent moment.
Nous reviendrons dès notre prochain wek end à canet !
