The village has preserved very little evidence of its past: the monastery and its keep, the ramparts and the posterns have completely disappeared. But the church, built in the 12th century, still seems to crouch down to offer less grip to the wind; its square and massive bell tower alone protrudes. It preserves wall paintings and an ancient granite baptistery decorated with a Maltese cross. Although very damaged, these 15th century frescoes clearly show a Crucifixion and the four evangelists. From the village, there are two hiking routes: one leads to a small Roman bridge, the other to the Echine-de-l'Ase, on a donkey back as its name suggests.
