This village, which in the 14th and 15th centuries hosted a hospital of the Order of the Knights of Malta, is today a privileged place for lovers of hiking and horse riding, thanks to its tormented relief and its multiple panoramas. In a landscape of hillsides planted with vines and crowned with chestnut trees, Saint-Trojan is a land of many springs where the hiker will enjoy the panorama from the highest point of the Bourg-Blaye region, located not far from an ancient feudal mound.
