ASSOCIATION VOILES AURIQUES

The association Les Voiles Aurique has been fighting for several years to protect the water heritage of the region. To do this, its members have rehabilitated two sailboats of the last century – Draug and Vagabond – and they offer promenade on the sea or on the Thau Pond on board of these old tall ships. The amounts collected are fully allocated to the maintenance of sailboats and to the development of new heritage ships' restoration projects. A pleasant way for contributors to participate in the protection of these exceptional boats. The aim is to promote the discovery and practice of traditional sailing in Sète while participating in the conservation of maritime heritage, a project that deserves a look… and the ride!
