This small, peaceful village in the Hérault valley is the setting for an important heritage. Particularly developed in the 17th and 18th centuries, periods of great construction work for the town, it preserves several buildings and remains from these periods. Its narrow streets, dotted with imposing 19th century village houses, lead to the town's castle (rebuilt in the 17th century) and the chapel of Notre-Dame-de-la-Vierge-Noire. But it is in the Saint-Géraud d'Aurillac chapel that one can observe its distinguished guest: a 17th century tabernacle (restored in 1978). This rare and majestic setting was built in the pure tradition of Baroque art.
