In Saint-Chinian, the Café de la Paix restaurant is an institution. Eve and David have been running the establishment for 9 years. They offer bistro and local cuisine. The décor features an intense black front, a warm wood and chocolate room and a sublimely renovated terrace. On the plate, start with creamy chanterelle mushrooms, then pig snout with gribiche sauce, or stuffed veal breast with seasonal vegetables for the main course. Seasonal and market-driven dishes, authentic cuisine rooted in the terroir. A real treat!
