Gourmet products local specialties and wines Portiragnes

The vineyard extends over 1,200 ha, with a terroir influenced by the sea and soils of rounded pebbles. The cooperative brings together 167 passionate winegrowers, producing prestigious wines. The company is well organized, selling over 4.2 million bottles a year in France and abroad. In Portiragnes, a cellar on Avenue de l'Égalité, in the northeast of the village, provides an ideal setting for tastings, and serves as a boutique for the wines.

In summer, these two communes open up to a multitude of local producers and exhibitors. In Portiragnes, they settle on the avenue Jean Moulin and compose a traditional market on Sunday morning. In Portiragnes-Plage: the traditional market on Monday morning, the one on the Boulevard de la Tour du Guet on Tuesday morning, the one on the Avenue des Mûriers and the Front de mer on Wednesday and Friday morning, the night market on Tuesday from 8pm, and finally, the one on the Place du Bicentenaire on Sunday.
