A champion of Europe in 2003 and fourteen times France champion, Montpellier Hand-Ball continues to impose its supremacy with a number of Olympic winners since 2008, such as the Mickael Guigou or Dragan Gajic. This school of champions makes landmarks and the club welcomes adults and children from 4 years. But only the boys. In order to be forgiven, Montpellier Hand-Ball Club participates in the development of the hand in school and in the clubs of the agglomeration. On May 22, 2016, the MHB won its 13 th Cup of France by beating Paris in an enameled final (38-32).

Montpellier est une ville sportive, rugby, foot, volley mais surtout handball avec une ambiance fantastique. Il faut avoir au moins vu un match.

Le Montpellier Handball est le plus important club de handball du Languedoc, et compte chaque année entre 700 et 800 adhérents. Il permet à de nombreux jeunes de se former à ce sport, mais possède également une section de haut niveau qui a le plus long palmarès de tous les clubs de handball français, et est le seul (à ce jour, mai 2017) à avoir gagné une coupe d'Europe. Les matchs de l'équipe professionnelles sont toujours des moments forts en ambiance et en engagement, et les spectateurs qui y assistent (connaisseurs ou néophytes en sortent généralement ravis).
