Every year, the Esplanade Charles de Gaulle fills up with wine lovers during the last weekend of November, the last month of the harvest. Montpellier celebrates the vine and wine with passion, on Fridays and Saturdays, and welcomes a wine-growing village where you are sure to find one of the agricultural wonders that make the wines of Occitania! Filled with sugar and gilded by the sun, the winegrowers select their grape varieties and always strive to live from their passion for wine while drawing quality wine production from the land. During these 2 days, you will benefit from conferences, blind tastings, wine bar, musical entertainment.

And on Sundays, the festival continues in the cellars and estates of the Montpellier area with tastings. Over the last few years, the events have brought together more than 125,000 people at each party!

Since 2021 in November, the Metropole of Montpellier has been organizing Les Rencontres Vigneronnes to showcase the region's producers. You're invited to discover their best wines in the cellars and estates around Montpellier. In a festive and convivial atmosphere, everything has been thought of to ensure that you have a pleasant time during your discovery of wine: visits to cellars and vineyards, oenological advice, tasting workshops, entertainment, walks...

In the past, this gourmet event was called "Les Estivales" and was held in Montpellier city center. O'Millésimes has now been relocated to the magnificent Domaine d'O, so you can enjoy a toast in the open air, but a little cooler! This gastronomic festival takes place over two weekends in the summer, and all lovers of local produce will gather for tastings and concerts, a night market teeming with tasty local dishes and wines, crafts, meetings, conferences and workshops.

Come and discover the spirit of the troubadours through this original festival! From April to October, some 50 concerts take place in the 13 departments of the Occitanie region, with artists from all over the world reinterpreting the songs of Romanesque art. This itinerant festival takes place in places representative of Occitan medieval history, such as Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert Abbey, Notre-Dame de Flaran Abbey and Saint-Lizier Cathedral.

August 16 is the annual celebration of Montpellier's patron saint, Saint Roch, in the city of his birth. Montpellier organizes the Fêtes de la Saint Roch, an event open to all, welcoming not only thousands of pilgrims, but also visitors and tourists from all over the world. On the program for these festive days: a tour dedicated to Saint Roch with Tourist Office guides, an international symposium, processions and liturgical events, festive street entertainment and concerts.
