A charming and picturesque village located on the ancient Roman road, Montbazin is steeped in a thousand years of history. It is known for its belfry, its vineyard houses and especially its Romanesque chapel built in the 11th and 12th centuries, which is decorated with Romanesque frescoes representing saints. Its sloping streets give it a Castilian air. In the lower part of the village, there are patrician houses dating from the 19th century, a time of prosperity for the wine industry. This village, preserved from the main traffic routes, has kept its charm. From here, there are short hiking trails in the garrigue, going up to the hills of La Moure.
