Since their installation at the entrance of the city in 1978, the Gigliano and Cours families have been selling their own productions of Bouzigues oysters and mussels from the open sea or the pond. They are of an unequalled freshness and quality. In the fish tank, you can also find scallops, violets, almonds, tellins, whelks, cockles and other clams of very first choice. Lobsters, shrimps and lobsters in season complete the display. But the other interest is its tasting corner. You can also buy a nice seafood platter to take away.

Karine and Yvan Caussel, settled in the shellfish farm complex of Mourre Blanc, offer different formulas: a package including the visit of their shellfish farm followed by the meal, the sale at the farm and on line, conferences, seminars as well as a camping-cars space. For individuals, tasting-restauration of raw and gratinated shellfish, at noon from April^1st to October 31st. What a treat, with a superb view of the Thau lagoon!

On the shore of Thau Pond is the shellfish shellfish village, the Moure Blanc. Here, Didier Touren, a shellfish producer, is passionate about his rugged sea trade. A passion he shares with the curious tourists eager to know his work and the secrets of the shells of his pond. Thus, from February to October, for groups and on reservation, Didier explains his craft and organizes tastings of shells accompanied by bread of rye spread and picpoul well.

Claude Jourdan, second generation of women winemakers, creates terroir wines with his Piquepoul, Chardonnay, Sauvignon, Roussanne, Syrah, Grenache... Planted by the sea, its vines evolve in the sea spray, benefiting from its fresh and humid benefits. This location develops fresh white wines like Picpoul de Pinet, and fruity reds. In the cellar, the wines are vinified and aged in thermo-controlled stainless steel tanks. The domain and its ten wines are labeled High Environmental Value.

If you leave Mèze from the south along the Étang pond, do not hesitate to stop at the Blanc Blanc, a small shellfish village. Here, ask Michel Remeize, you will be told his institution without a bad deal. Passionate about his craft, he will propose a short visit (approximately 30 minutes) from his facilities and explain the long process that results in the production of thousands of delicious molluscs each year. A breeding that lasts between 12 and 15 months between water and harvesting. Of course, you can taste and buy fresh mussels and oysters at very interesting prices.

A few steps away from the town hall of Mèze, one pushes the door of this delicatessen to shop for regional products: zézettes from Sète, figounettes from Mèze, berlingots from Pézénas, liqueur La mentheuse, Azaïs Polito products, muscatel from Frontignan, l'Epicurien... You can fill your basket to make gifts in the middle of the shelves well supplied with sweet and salted sweets. The welcome is friendly and you can also find great brands such as the Bonnat chocolate factory, Terre exotique, Savor & Sens, Edmond Fallot, Alain Millat...

The weather is nice, it's hot: everyone wants to melt on an ice cream at snack time or during a walk in the evening. Glaces des sables is a nice address, located two steps from the small beach. One leaves a few minutes its towel to go to seek its fresh sweetness. Ideal to make a greedy pause with specialities of artisanal ice creams, Italian ice creams and granitas with the various flavours, but also pancakes, waffles, fresh and hot drinks... Benoît and his team propose a renewed card with the wire of the weeks.

Yvon Lardat is a shellfish producer. In his small sales outlet, Yvon and his team welcome with a smile the gourmets who have come to get their seafood platters ordered in advance, but also those who wish to settle down to taste directly on the spot the freshness of the sea. The atmosphere is friendly, and there is a wide choice on the menu. You can start with a mussel turnover, a fish soup or a gratin of marbled razor clams. We continue with oysters, whelks, shrimps, clams, crab...

The large Costières de Pomerols cellar features a 250^m2 sales area, a tasting room for up to 50 people, and a panoramic terrace. Here, terroir takes pride of place. When summer is in full swing, the place comes alive with jazz evenings where you can enjoy tapas and wines under the stars. The house also offers workshops, gourmet escapades, cellar tours and other wine-tourism delights!

Caveau Beauvignac, created in 1932, expanded in 2007 with Mèze, then in 2022 with Pignan. These unions have enabled us to produce a quality wine, making it a fine showcase for Costières de Pomerols wines. In July and August, Caveau Beauvignac organizes jazz evenings under the stars on Thursdays, with tapas and wine on the panoramic terrace. We also offer introductory wine-tasting courses. La Petite Balançoire is a grocery store. It offers a wide range of organic and French bulk food products, as well as eco-friendly household products and natural cosmetics. Customers can also order online using the Click and Collect service. La Petite Balançoire accepts customers' own containers, enabling them to purchase the exact quantity required. The grocery store offers a warm welcome and a pleasant setting, with vintage decor inspired by the 50s.
