In the past, this great iron Christ was installed on the Place de la République, instead of the former place of the Croix de la Mission. In revolutionary events, the work was transported at the Cimetière-Vieux before being definitively installed on the Place Général-Guillaut on June 26, 1994.

Christ de la Croix de la Mission 34340 Marseillan
Le Christ de la Croix de la Mission se trouve maintenant à proximité de l'Eglise Saint-Jean-Baptiste. Il faut faire le tour de l'église par la gauche pour le trouver. Sa beauté et sa solennité méritent la visite.
