Specializing in design, interior fittings and heritage restoration, Frédéric Matan was elected "meilleur ouvrier de France" stone cutter and sculptor in 2004 after many years of hard work and personal research. He creates for companies and private individuals, but also regularly works on well-known historic monuments. Examples include the restoration of the façade of the Nelson Mandela House of International Relations in Montpellier, and the Haussmann buildings around Place de la Comédie.
