Nestled in the upper Orb valley, watched over by the Escandorgue plateau and the Orb mountains, Bousquet-d'Orb, a former industrial and glass-making village, is now a prosperous wine-growing area. After coal, it is now a producer of high quality local wines. The flagship grape varieties are Chardonnay, Merlot, Syrah and Cabernet. Wild country, the traces of its past are still visible and several buildings or places are worthy of interest, such as the castle of Cazillac, the church of Saint-Martin or the coal washhouse of the old mine.
