Its location on the banks of the Canal du Midi makes this small village very pleasant. The towpath, shaded by large plane trees, is ideal for a walk to an old stone bridge from the 17th century. Its river port, built in a semicircle, is one of the starting points for cruises on the canal. Built on a hillock bordered by the Domitian Way to the south, founded on the Heraclean Way visited by Hannibal and his elephants, and by the Canal du Midi to the northwest, the church of Saint-Sylvestre, remodeled between the 12th and 19th centuries, contains a sarcophagus probably dating from the5th century. The castle dating from the last century has become a restaurant.
