Claret is a small village lost on the Causse de l'Orthus. You'll love getting lost in its magnificently restored historic center. Its picturesque alleyways criss-cross the village, leading tourists from the 11th-century Romanesque church of Saint-Félix to the Place de l'Hermet, passing by numerous sites emblematic of the art of glassmaking. Claret has built part of its economy on this ancestral activity. Today, the town is banking on the revival of this tradition to revitalize tourism, in particular through the presentation of the "gentlemen glassmakers", who held the royal privilege of blowing glass.
