Cradle of shellfish farming, this charming little fishing village has been awarded the label "remarkable site of taste" and lives mainly from oyster and mussel farming. Its museum of the Thau lagoon retraces the history of breeding techniques. Not to be missed every summer: the oyster festival. Bouzigues is also the first stop of the Canal du Midi on the lagoon. Next to its small fishing port, a marina has been established with all the comforts for a stay on the water. With its typical narrow streets, the southern village invites you to stroll along the waterfront where restaurants offer fresh Mediterranean cuisine.
