Catherine Roque's estate is atypical in that it's located on a cold, north-facing terroir on the Faugères mountain, and it's a great success. This pioneer has dared to plant Burgundian grape varieties in the Orb valley: pinot noir, chardonnay and viognier. The result is fine, elegant wines, in which even Syrah offers power and complexity. Some of the vines are AOC Clairette du Languedoc, the rest are excellent vins de pays. Our hostess takes us on a simple tour of her little marvels: Palagrets in red or Les Aurièges in white.

Aucels is an excellent brewery from the Hérault region with an owl as its logo. This Bedarcian beer is a real delight in the mouth, with a surprising lightness, whatever the color of its dress. Lemonades and artisanal sodas are also produced. The premises have been renovated and the visitor can see the tanks that house the golden nectar. The prices in the store are very affordable, the service is warm and the team of enthusiasts is full of original ideas, such as the brewing courses starting in March and the rental of taps.
