Perched on a rocky outcrop, Lussan is a medieval city surrounded by ramparts and dominating the garrigue. Classified as a Village of Character, it is also one of the Most Beautiful Villages of France. Its narrow streets and stone houses underline its rich past. The ramparts and the covered way offer a magnificent panorama on the Cevennes and the Mont Ventoux. Nearby, the menhir of La Lèque, "the planted stone", 5.6 meters high, one of the highest in the Languedoc, promises an impressive encounter. The sumptuous gorges of the Concluses, dug in the limestone by the Aiguillon river, are also to be seen by walking along a small marked path.
