Famous for its fine wines, classified Côtes du Rhône villages (AOC), Chusclan is a pretty village offering visitors picturesque lanes, arches and cobbled squares. Nestling on the right bank of the Rhône and the left bank of the Cèze, it's also the starting point for a number of walks to discover the vestiges of its past: the ruins of the Château de Gicon, the Chapelle Sainte-Madeleine, the ferme des randonneurs, the dent de Marcoule overlooking the Rhône valley, with the Dentelles du Montmirail and Mont Ventoux in the distance on the Vaucluse side. Nature-lovers will enjoy strolling through the many woods overlooking the village.
