Restaurant with a modern decor and a renowned chef from the Atelier Gourmand in Alès

This mythical establishment in Alès has been caring for its clientele for 113 years. Despite its advanced age, the place has not aged a bit. In 2017, the owners returned their apron and under the impetus of Gwladys and Sébastien Rath, the hotel-restaurant Le Riche is getting a makeover with several changes: the decor has been changed to be more modern, prices have been revised and the restaurant menu has been overhauled. It must be said that the young chef from Alesia is not lacking in motivation and nerve, his objective: to restore the establishment's letters of nobility. Renowned chef of the Atelier Gourmand, with 17 medals in the Gard Gourmand competition, he has put his talent at the service of the institution.

Déception

Trois visites dans ce restaurant si recommandé sur Ales. Mais les saveurs, le terroir... ne sont pas au rendez-vous. Si la recherche esthétique reste présente, le goût des mets semble cristallisé, une impression de cuisine de type moléculaire. Dommage

Trop cher...Assiette peu garnie,originalité dans la présentation mais c'est tout,le café n'est même pas accompagné ne serais ce d'un petit biscuit,chocolat...franchement décevant...et quant au service,faut il donner un supplément pour un petit sourire??
