This small town in the Aude region, built about ten kilometres from Narbonne, is a charming destination. Its shady avenues, its tree-lined banks and the fishy sites of the Orbieu regularly attract holidaymakers in search of peace and quiet. Established on the route of the Via Aquitania, a Roman road built in the 1st century AD to link Narbonne to Toulouse and Bordeaux, Villedaigne boasts some Roman remains that hikers can discover during their walks.
