OBSERVATOIRE ASTRONOMIQUE DE NARBONNE - ASSOCIATION NARBONNAISE D'ASTRONOMIE POPULAIRE
Narbonne's astronomical observatory is located in a wooded park dominated by a castle, place of seminars. This park, open to the public on Wednesday from 2 p. m. to 5:30 p. m., is also the starting point for mountain biking and sports, as well as a botanical trail. Play areas are also available. The observatory has two observation cupola, a planetarium that can accommodate 25 people (to discover and understand constellations, their mythology, celestial mechanics, etc.), and a multi-purpose room for conferences and meetings. You can come on a Friday in two from 8:30 p. m., alone or with family, to contemplate some celestial objects according to weather conditions. For other activities (planetarium in particular), it is necessary to contact before coming.
