"The valley widens where the Lauquette flows, to let Mas-des-Cours spread out like a fan. With its small houses, its old bridge and its church with its ancient portal, this small village nestled in the middle of the garrigue and which has 18 inhabitants year round, enjoys an exceptional living environment. If time seems to have stopped here, it is to better preserve its authenticity and its rurality. The commune has two registrations as Historic Monuments: the ruins of the 16th century castle, which from the entrance to the village, seem to watch over the commune, and the old bridge over the Lauquette, which allows the passage between the village and the church.
