Picturesque with its port located in the heart of a natural site, with its circular streets at the foot of the Barbarossa tower, a remnant of a castle built in the 10th and 11th centuries. Family-friendly with its huge sandy beaches, including the one of the cottages on stilts, accessible by bike along the bike path that runs along the canal. Then there is its pretty open-air market with stalls selling fruit, vegetables and local produce. In fine weather, there are many events such as the Festejades, the Gruissan Beach Rugby, or the famous Wind Challenge (in mid-May). Concerts, exhibitions, shows and night markets punctuate the summer season.
