Appa Lanka, a name that evokes travel since the restaurant entirely reinvented by Ophélie and Christopher transports you somewhere between Occitania and Sri Lanka. This hybrid venue is traditional at lunchtime, with a choice of meat and fish dishes, and when evening arrives, the lights dim to give the place another dimension. Appa Lanka is a restaurant and cocktail bar located in Conques-sur-Orbiel. It welcomes you in a pleasant, beautifully decorated setting, with subdued lighting creating a warm, intimate atmosphere. Here, you'll be treated to delicious cuisine, a blend of French, Asian and Sri Lankan flavors. Starters include hot goat's cheese salad and chicken gyoza, the latter made from deep-fried Japanese ravioli. The house also offers meat dishes such as beef, breaded escalope and leg of lamb marinated in oriental spices. You can also try the Sri Lankan dish of the moment, a family recipe handed down for generations. The burger of the moment also deserves special attention. To finish on a sweet note, opt for Sri Lankan rice pudding, homemade apple moelleux or crème brûlée. What's more, the restaurant's menu features a wide selection of cocktails, from the classic mojito to the most creative.
