Carcassonne is famous for its rugby club, AS Carcassonne. The club, also known as Carcassonne XIII, is a sports association that competes in the Elite 1 championship. The 2022-2023 season promises to be a promising one for Carcassonne XIII, who will be challenging for the French championship title. Rugby fans can watch matches live or follow them on social networks, notably Facebook Live. The club also offers online subscriptions for those wishing to support the team throughout the season. Away from the matches, you can visit the club's online store, where you'll find jerseys, t-shirts, polo shirts, sweatshirts and other items in the Carcassonne XIII colors.

Go for the thrill of the two 130 m-long zip lines over Lac de la Cavayère! Or to test your balance on the courses designed for groups or individuals. In a natural setting suited to all ages, you'll zip from tree to tree, along an itinerary named after animals or colors, crescendoing in difficulty... and height! If you come in a group, don't hesitate to book the "Challenge Loisirs" formula, you will have 5 minutes of free practice to familiarize yourself, 5 minutes of timed practice and 2 rounds of 10 laps. Carcassonne's Pôle Aqualudique, due to open in 2021, is living up to its promise and attracting large numbers of locals and tourists alike. Located opposite the banks of the Aude on the emblematic Païchérou site, the pools boast a soothing view over the countryside. This fun and sports complex has 2 swimming pools, 1 of which is outdoor, a relaxation pool with swan neck and massage jets, a waterslide and a paddling pool with games for the little ones. The 25-meter-long outdoor pool (same as the indoor pool), with its 8 swimming lanes, is a paradise for lap swimmers, while a solarium is available for sunbathing. Hydro-gym and hydro-biking classes are also available. After your workout, you'll appreciate the more intimate balneo area, with a small pool equipped with massage beds, jets and fountains, as well as a second outdoor pool, sauna, hammam and sensory showers. Finally, a few words about the cardio-training area, with group classes and state-of-the-art machines for your solo workouts. Special mention should be made of the themed evenings organized according to the season. During our visit at the end of November, a "Zen Evening" was scheduled, with access to the balneotherapy area, sauna, hammam, 1 10-minute treatment, a glass of champagne and mignardises. End the evening with a stroll along the Aude River.

Open all year round, you can ask the two professionals Matthieu Bozio and Kévin Delvalle, for individual or group lessons, adapted to your practice and your objectives.
