The new cinema complex in Carcassonne saw the day of 2007 in the Red Bridge area, and the building is… red! You can even see it from the Black Mountain. Cape'Cinema is thus the successor to the two theatres in the city centre, with the Coliseum becoming a theatre of art and trial, and the Odéum a congress centre.

The imposing theatre opened in 1935 in the presence of Paul Valéry and now inscribed on the list of historic monuments of the twentieth century. It has undergone many stages of work - recently even for compliance with the new safety standards - without ever having its original stamp diminished.
