In 1946, Jacques Martin moved to Brussels, the same year that saw the birth of the newspaper Tintin. The exhibition Alix, l'art de Jacques Martin brings together more than 350 original drawings by the author where we see the young adventurer of Gallic origin at the heart of his travels with his companion Enak in different parts of the world. Alix's stories describe a complex world, with the vision of a lost ideal, that of Greek civilization, and against the backdrop of the terrible rivalry between Caesar and Pompey. Far from the hero to whom everything succeeds, Alix is a character to whom we become attached for the way he confronts reality and the way he faces choices that are not always simple. The event is to be discovered at the Espace Richaud in Versailles. More information on the Versailles Eve website
