Quinsac is the world capital of Clairet, a wine with slightly more color than rosé. The village boasts a number of noble houses dating from the 16th and 18th centuries: Galeteau, Pranzac, Montaigne on the river bank, and especially Péconnet, characterized by its Mannerist architecture. The neo-Gothic church dates from the 19th century, but boasts a 15th-century bell and several antique statues. Quinsac was home to many artists: the poet André Berry, whose bust can be seen in the church square, the animal painter Rosa Bonheur, the painter Clémentine-Hélène Dufau and the Schnegg brothers, Gaston (painter and sculptor) and Lucien (sculptor).
