This small village Prignac-et-Marcamps was created by the merger of two communes in 1965, Prignac and Marcamps-et-Cazelle. This commune has a very rich natural heritage. Nature lovers and lovers of hiking, walking or cycling will appreciate the territory of the commune. There is a 22-hectare natural area for the protection of fauna and flora: the Moron site. But it is the rich heritage that distinguishes this village: there are several churches, chapels, wash houses. François Daleau even discovered there in 1881 the Pair Non Pair cave, decorated with parietal engravings of horses, ibexes or mammoths, dated between 33,000 and 26,000 years before Christ. As you will have understood, there are some very beautiful things to discover in this small village of Prignac-et-Marcamps.
