The village of Flexanville comprises a town center and two hamlets: Tessé to the east and Ferranville to the north. The 11 km-long stream of the same name, a tributary of the Vaucouleurs, rises here. In the 17th and 18th centuries, the seigneury belonged to the du Buc family, before they were replaced by the marquis des Mazis de Cravent. The church of Saint-Germain-de-Paris, whose exact date of construction is unknown, offers visitors a 16th-century wooden sculpture depicting the Lamentation of Christ. On the gastronomic front, " guéné " is the name of a local leek and watercress soup.
