Frépillon is the furthest commune from the capital, making it a small town in the countryside. Frépillon, with a population of just over 3,000, backs onto the western slopes of the Butte de Montmorency, with quick, direct access to the vast green spaces that make it up. It is the least densely populated of the communes in the Val Parisis Communauté d'Agglomération, and yet it boasts an attractive heritage: Saint-Nicolas church, fountains and wash-houses give the heart of the little town plenty of character. The town is directly linked to Paris by train (line H): allow around 40 minutes to reach Gare du Nord.
