The origins of Neuilly-sur-Marne date back to the Paleolithic period and remains from the Gallo-Roman and Merovingian periods have also been discovered. Later, the banks of the Marne were transformed into a marina, a nautical base and beaches favourable to the practice of various sports, giving the city a small air of a seaside resort when the sunny days arrive. The 35,000 inhabitants enjoy pleasant walks between the Marne and the canal. The Saint-Baudile church and the Parc du Croissant vert complete an increasingly popular quality of life. Around 2025, metro line 11 should reach this point, putting the centre of Paris 30 minutes away, but the project seems to be stuck at the moment.
