For six generations, the Maison Gau, an art tanner, puts all its know-how at the service of the luminaires. Perpetuating ancestral methods, it manufactures high-end lighting and extra furniture, and restores decorative objects for historic monuments, hotels, public buildings or private residences. She was rewarded with the Living Heritage Company distinction.
History. Located in Paris since 1860, Lucien Gau has implemented all the know-how related to its profession: sand foundry, metal turn, bronze mount, cistern, according to traditional methods. His companions are from Ecole Boule or Ecole B.J.O.P.
The Gau House is able to design unique pieces (old or creative reproduction), such as collections meeting the requirements of major hotel chains in accordance with national and international standards and regulations.
The company also adapts to new manufacturing techniques, namely, mixing of materials, welding by T.I.G., laser cutting, the use of LED sources, among others.
With a collection of over 2,000 references, Lucien Gau products are distributed through its resellers, its network of commercial agents in France and abroad and its show-room located Place de la Bastille in Paris.
Maison Gau works closely with architects, decorators and renowned presenters.
