This corner shop has just been refurbished. Outside, a counter allows for tasting chocolate, tea, coffee and many of the department's specialities. Here, gourmets will find their happiness between briardes patties, Moret's barley sugars, fruit pasta, jams, Rose rose, Gâtinais beer, the Nemours liquor, or chocolate lovers the Monterelais stones and the Napoléon Napoléon. A selection of more than 80 teas. Coffees, some of them organic from Ethiopia or Vilcabamba, a small Inca village, are roasted at your convenience. Rachel welcomes us and advises us with a smile.

Inaugurated at the end of 2023, the Maison du Terroir marks the revival of the Place Claude Eymard-Duvernay, recently renovated by the town council and part of a town-centre regeneration project featuring stores and civic projects. The store showcases the riches of the Seine-et-Marne region, with no fewer than 640 artisanal products on offer from some 50 producers, both from the region and from towns twinned with Montereau-Fault-Yonne. You'll find everything from sweet and savoury products to spirits and specialities, and cosmetics.
