A historic parish church that generated substantial income thanks to the abbot's construction of a farm and tithe barn.
This great turret building was formerly inhabited by Father Becquet. It settled there at the end of the eighteenth century and bought the fields adjacent to the presbytery at the village marshal. The abbot began to build a farm as well as a barn at the tithes (the tax levied by the church on crops), allowing the cure to receive significant income. Cure and farm were then sold in 1795. In 1822, the Presbytery was moved rue de la Fontaine. A plaque recalls the important dates of its history.
