The first Printemps store was inaugurated in 1865, then expanded year after year. A fire in 1881 led to a reconstruction that was accompanied by the electrification of the lighting, which was very noticeable at the time. The facade and the Art Nouveau dome are classified as historical monuments. Today, the store is divided into three establishments offering thousands of treasures: home, men and of course fashion. One address located nearby is entirely devoted to more than 250 brands aimed at young people, it is the Citadium store. Feeling peckish? You can play the tsarina by sipping the famous hot chocolate at the Pouchkine café, or admire the mythical dome of La Coupole from the Printemps brasserie. No less than eight restaurants to choose from for Printemps! The best panoramic view is at the Déli-Cieux, on the 9th floor, which offers the most beautiful 360° view of the capital. Two other Printemps stores are located near the Place de la Nation and Place d'Italie, and a Design boutique awaits you at Les Halles - lamps, chairs, vases, cutlery, jewelry, bags, pens, stuffed animals... The first store of the Japanese giant opened at Defence in 2007. The second store of Scribe street is in the inner walls. The store offers a casual and urban style at affordable prices. Among the most popular products, you will find very good denims (about 40 €) slim cuts, wide or straight and the famous UT T-Shirt (20 €) sold in translucent cans. It is also possible to find on the shelf, models and basic cuts that each have a small detail that makes them irresistible fashion trend. You will love the soft cashmere sweaters as well as simple and chic dresses (between 30 € and 70 €). Japanese service does not diminish the pleasure of dressing according to mode for a very reasonable price. Compared to the two clothing giants known as Gap or H &M, Uniqlo does not intend to stop there and by 2019, it will open over 4,000 stores including 3,000 outside of Japan. Paris should also have some stores. The success of Uniqlo in Japan and the world is dazzling. This subsidiary of Fast Retailing Tadashi Yanai became famous in a record time. The quality of its products, the moderate prices it offers, its studied lines (Jil Sander has been there), but also reliable partnerships (Orla Kiely, Undercover, Andrea Crews have associated their name to the brand) have catapulted the brand to higher rankings.

In 1872, Fukuhara Yushin, a former Navy pharmacist founded in Tokyo, in the district of Ginza, the first Western-type pharmacy. As a good visionary, he introduced the first Western toothpaste in 1888; in 1897 it creates Eudermine water, a moisturizing serum, which is still marketed today… Success is blowing.
