Smyril Line is the only shipping company to connect the Faroe Islands (and Iceland) from Denmark. With a capacity of 1,500 passengers, the Norröna offers all the comforts of a floating hotel (berths, a wide choice of cabins, solarium, swimming pool, fitness room, cinema room...). This cruise-ferry, which started sailing in the spring of 2003, offers crossings from Hirtshals (Denmark), including two weekly departures to the Faroe Islands, from early June to late August.
