This church overlooking the Faubourg Saint-Honoré and the main boulevards, is rich in works, including a fresco by Jules Ziegler
Overlooking the Faubourg Saint-Honoré and the Grand Boulevards, this church has an antique façade in perfect symmetry with the Palais Bourbon, which faces it on the other side of the Seine via the Rue Royale and the Place de la Concorde. Begun in 1763, its construction saw several architects succeed one another until its inauguration in 1842. The church is rich in works, including a fresco by Jules Ziegler adorning the choir or the organ by Aristide Cavaillé-Coll. Finally, note that its bronze doors are larger than those of St. Peter in Rome!

À visiter absolument et la magie opèrera croyez moi ????????????????, profitez bien de la visite et si possible en heure creuses... Avant les JO par exemple ???? !

Une belle église qui a en partie été restaurée au niveau de l'entrée principale. Quid du reste du bâtiment ? Les statues manquent d'entretien... Malgré une visite intéressante !
