Hotel-restaurant in Paris serving a gourmet and gastro menu, varied menus and a good cocktail.
China is really a nice surprise. Nestled in the Paris Hyatt Madeleine Hotel, near the lobby, this restaurant with its design look is located under a magnificent historical glass roof of the Gustave Eiffel workshops. The decorative elements, such as the impressive panther sculpture in the middle of the room, seem to have been found all over the world. The dimmed lights at night give the place a cosy cocoon aspect where you want to stay longer. To get in the mood, we start with a good cocktail, Basil & Lili being particularly refreshing if you hesitate. Then, we let ourselves be tempted by the gourmet and gastro menu of chef Simon Havage. The "summer" menu included, for example, a cucumber gazpacho, stracciatella di burrata and dill as a starter and shells with ham on the bone, comté, summer truffle and strong meat juice. A good address that is still confidential, so enjoy it!
Quelques autres clients étaient très bruyants et impolis, ce qui nous a mis un peu mal à l'aise.
