LE RESTAURANT DE LA MAISON DE L'AMÉRIQUE LATINE
Restaurant with a table superbly extended by a vast garden, with a terrace in Paris.
Some places leave you boned. This is the case with this Latin American house, created in 1946 at the initiative of General de Gaulle, with the aim of "meeting the Latin Americans and the French and promoting exchanges between France and the republics of Latin America." This house is home to a table, beautifully extended by a large French garden that also makes it terrace in the beautiful days which makes it even more magical. This institution is therefore a small confidential address, a small cocoon that only insiders and smart people know. Chef Thierry Vaissière offers a kitchen that can humble the air while never losing sight of our land. He revisits, for example, the ceviche, a classic Peruvian, with a very French delicacy, but also offers a soup of potibrown, chestnut grated, quenched chestnut. In dessert, the choco/pralian mirror is a real delight for chocolate fans. In short, you will experience a beautiful gastronomic experience in a sublime place that has been completely rethought recently by the talented designer and Argentinian sculptor Pablo Reinoso. And we loved this new look, between classic and modernity! One without fault.
